This past weekend was the Hood River Premiere of Haymaker from HH Films, poolside at the Columbia Gorge Kayak School location. Featured in High Definition with zip-line shots and creative editing of beautiful first descents in locations from Hawaii to Puerto Vallarta. Also featuring some local paddlers and a featured section on the Hood River area with a full rafting chapter of some recent descents in the Pacific Northwest. Northwest Video Scrapbook #8 is finally here!
In this DVD we take a unique look at the Columbia River Gorge and surrounding areas, with footage that dates back as early as 1991. This year in general The Gorge saw an onslaught of big waterfall runners testing the mighty falls that line the 80 mile long cliffs up and down the Columbia River Gorge. The Northwest Video Scrapbook #7 premieres have come to an end. Thank You to Hopworks Urban Brewery in Portland for hosting the final event, as well as Luke Spencer, Next Adventure, & eNRG Kayaking for the support. HUB set us up in the basement, far from the non paddlers in the restaurant, great place, great beer, & it was great to see everyone there!
